Good Evening Everyone!
After spending the day training here at Smith Mountain Lake, let me just tell you, I am pumped up for these incoming freshmen to experience what this center has to offer. The counselors are absolutely amazing, the facilities are top notch, and the weather (knock on wood) is b-e-a-utiful. I can confidently say that the students who get to experience this are truly lucky. By Tuesday afternoon, these students will feel like they’ve already lived in Blacksburg and will definitely be ready to rock the Hokie community. The freshmen of Hokie Camp 2008 will definitely be more prepared for Virginia Tech than any other incoming class in school history. I am so excited to get this camp underway!
