About Virginia Tech’s Hokie Camp 2008

Virginia Tech’s Hokie Camp 2008 isn’t your typical summer camp. Before students even arrive on campus for the start of their undergraduate college careers, the class of 2012 is being offered an opportunity to be a part of Hokie Camp – an optional, two day retreat being held at the Smith Mountain Lake 4-H Center near Roanoke, Va. Quite simply, Hokie Camp is a welcoming experience unlike any other. Nearly 250 new students will learn more about Virginia Tech’s time honored traditions, respect for diversity, and thriving community oriented spirit. More importantly though, Hokie Camp is giving new students a chance to form relationships with theirĀ peers before the academic year gets underway.
